Thermal Protector TB02, TB05, TB11

Area of Application

The TB02/TB05-type Thermal protector will be used to protect against thermal overheating of small electric applications.
The metal cased version is commonly used as winding protector of small motors and transformers. 

Function

TB02/TB05/TB11-type Thermal protectors are not current sensitive. Temperature detection is realized by a bimetal snap disk.
The reaction time of the Thermal protector can be reduced using high-impedance bimetal material.
The product is available with normally closed (NC) as well as with normally opened (NO) contacts.
After cooling down process, the protector returns to its initial position automatically (automatic reset).

TB11 can be modified by adding PTC (optionally) to realize time delayed reset function.
