COMPLETE TAKEOVER OF LIMITOR BY DISCOVERIE GROUP PLC.

On December 4th, 2020, the business and assets of Limitor were acquired by discoverIE Group plc.

discoverIE owns multiple companies worldwide, one of which is Variohm. The Limitor business will join the Variohm Group of companies but will continue to operate independently under its own brand and will remain 100% focused on increasing sales and continued development of its product range.

By becoming part of the discoverIE group of companies, Limitor will have access to the wider group. This includes in particular the Variohm business, which has 6 operating businesses specializing in the supply of sensors, switches and motion systems to a wide range of industries. The acquisition of Limitor will give it access to both Variohm’s and discoverIE’s extensive product range.

It is recognized that Limitor is an extremely successful business, thanks to its highly skilled and motivated workforce, established and loyal customers and its extensive range of market leading products.
